Shelton Leadership Center Celebrates 2025 Award Winners & Student Accomplishments
In April, the Shelton Leadership Center community gathered to recognize the accomplishments of students and graduates during our end-of-year celebration.

As the 2024-25 academic term comes to a close, the Shelton Leadership Center (SLC) celebrates the achievements of students across each of the center’s programs and minors.
Graduating students, students who completed their SLC program, 2024-25 scholarship recipients, and other student accomplishments were recognized in April at the center’s end-of-year reception. The reception invited SLC community members including students, alumni, staff, faculty, donors and board members to celebrate the key leadership accomplishments and work of students across the center during 2025.
In 2025, 68 SLC-affiliated students are graduating from NC State University or completed their SLC program in 2025. During the event, student representatives from each SLC program spoke about the impact that the Shelton experience has had on their leadership journeys and how they will carry the Shelton legacy forward to future endeavors.
Students graduating in 2025 were awarded a Shelton medallion, which they are invited to wear with their regalia during their graduation ceremonies. The medallion symbolizes their commitment to values-based leadership as well as honors the completion of their respective Shelton-affiliated programs.
