The Chancellor’s Leadership Development Program Advisory Committee

An integral aspect of our program is the leadership and input of the Advisory Committee. The group meets three times per calendar year to provide feedback and advisement on all program aspects.

Today, we're introducing our newest member, Sierra Smith, the Program Specialist for College Programs. She advises the Student Ambassadors and co-leads the CLDP. When she is not at work, Sierra enjoys traveling, attending sports events, and watching a great movie.

Are you a rising NC State senior looking for fall classes? Consider taking CBB 810-013 - Leadership in Interdisciplinary Biomedical Sciences. The course will be taught in person on Mondays from 2-4pm. Please contact Dr. Debbie Acker at for more info.

Meet the Shelton Leadership Center summer interns! The fourth and final intern to be introduced is Sheridan Smith. Sheridan is a rising sophomore majoring in Biological Sciences. On campus, Sheridan is involved in the Chancellor's Leadership Development Program.

Today, we're re-introducing Ashley Turlington. Ashley is the Assistant Director for Pre-College Programs and has been with the SLC since January. This summer, she's been working on new programming like Summer with Shelton. Learn more about our staff at
