We have distilled the vast body of knowledge and lessons of General H. Hugh Shelton, a top world leader in both military and business into practical lessons for values based leadership for leaders of all ages and roles.
- General Shelton served as the 14th Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (the United States’ senior military advisor and commander of all the US Armed Forces on 9/11).
- Following his retirement, he serves on multiple corporate boards. He was named as one of the top 100 Corporate Board Members by the National Association of Corporate Directors in 2012.
Check out these success stories of how we have helped organizations in partnership with the Poole College of Management:
General Shelton outlined five cornerstones of values based leadership which are applicable to intergenerational leaders ranging from youth to senior executive roles. These cornerstones are: Honesty, Integrity, Compassion, Diversity, and Social Responsibility. We have taken General Shelton’s cornerstones and embedded them as a foundation for our executive education programs.
