Professional Programs

The Shelton Leadership Center offers customized training for administrators, faculty, staff, and students of every discipline. The training modules are independently constructed, research-driven, and tailored to the concerns and objectives of the organization.

It is the belief of the center that leadership is not confined to specific fields or positions, but rather comprised of transferable skills relevant to all facets of public life. As a result, the center seeks to support intergenerational leadership across the academic spectrum and works with all areas of expertise and focus. Consistent with the mission, integrated into the programming are the principles of values-based leadership to ensure a robust and holistic development model of training.
