Annaka Sikkink is the Assistant Director for Scholars and Special Programs, supporting the Shelton Scholars, the Thriving in Interdisciplinary Teams program, and other programs within the Shelton Leadership Center. Joining Shelton in 2024, Annaka brings more than 15 years of experience in teaching, coaching and mentoring emerging leaders. In her prior role at the university, Annaka supported employee development for Campus Enterprises. She also completed her masters in adult education through NC State in 2021 and holds a bachelors in psychology from Macalester College. Annaka loves seeing students grow and mature into capable leaders with integrity and passion. She also loves dogs, gardening, and yummy vegetarian food.
